In this year’s post about Halloween I am going to give you a gift list, with dos and don’ts of trick or treating (aimed at teenagers). I am also going to give you my favourite spooky film of the year and a recommended spooky tv show.
MY GIFTS & DO/DON’T LIST:
A knitted Pumpkin hat
DO be polite at front doors
DON’T knock strangers door
A skeleton Costume/Outfit
DO let your elder/person in charge know your whereabouts
DON’T go to places you don’t know.
Spooky songs on CD or MP3/Online
DO take a mobile device with you
DON’T linger outside if no answer
(Be aware: There might be elderly, too scared to answer the door)
A spooky phone cover
DO keep an eye on the time
DON’T stay out late
A medley of sweets and chocolate
DO try to go before it gets dark
DON’T go trick or treating alone, take a mate.
My recommended film of the year is an old but good one. “Addams Family Values”. This film came out roughly in the 1990s and was a big thing at the time. Well worth a watch!
The TV show I recommend over Halloween is the new Netflix programme “Wednesday”. It is based on the exploits of Wednesday, the child in the Addams family (from the film above of the same name). It’s aimed at teenagers and is quite funny.
