Can you believe it?
Welshie Books & Thoughts (this blog) has turned 9 years old today. I never would have thought I would have my own site on the internet, let alone still have it 9 years on.
I know this site is semi-archived as I don’t update it very often but I thought I’d give you a celebratory post today for it’s anniversary month.
9 years of blogging… What have I learnt?
• Starting is easy, maintaining is much harder
• Looks are everything on the internet,
• Do your research, before a post.
• Contacts help speed up design.
• Don’t rush & always plan your content.
What are my aims to complete before the 10 year anniversary next year?
I never thought I’d get this far. I’ve got a few potential goals for before May 2027 comes around.
• Continue writing articles on Substack.
• Continue writing posts on here (blog).
• Start my podcast (hopefully in 2026).
• Start doing video content on social media.
• Continue writing more for my original TV show.
• Finish the first draft script for my musical Play.
• Celebrate my 10th year blog anniversary.

Note: As you may be aware; other than occasional posts on here, I have moved my main bulk of writing to a personal Substack in 2025.
