    Why I cancelled my readathon last year // Why it’s back!

    As you might have noticed by my pinned current tweet on my Twitter, I have advertised my month-long readathon, that I created September last year. I came up with the idea while trying to think of a book series I would like to read, along side a children’s series. “The Chronicles of Narnia” does both. I decided that over the space of a month it is plenty of time to read the short 7 book series and it will get people reading again as it is a simple level to start back up reading.     The Autumn traditionally falls over the months of September to November. It is the lead up to the Winter, which is normally over the Christmas & New Year period but the weather in the UK is unpredictable – sometimes it isn’t what you expect at all…  Sometimes we have sunny weather in Autumn and sometimes it rains or snows. You have to be on your guard all year round and keep up with the weather reports too. I personally love to look at the snow but have trouble getting around in that weather.     So it’s September already. Well, technically it’s mid-September 2018. As far as I can remember September always reminded me of school. Even now it still does.
